On a bench in the park
In the grounds of the college
Is a bronze plaque
Bearing your name
And as the morning sun dries off the grass
I will sit here
And try to picture you
You were sat flat on the floor
I didn't understand your illness
I only knew it made me feel awkward
And you so happy
So at one with the world
A shaved head and a clear smile
How could you be
So at peace with everything
To have seen so much so young
The holidays were long
And when we came back
You were gone
