Crumbling artifacts of past
Joy never found again
In the absence of this sun
Portraying charcoal scars
In artificial cascades of ebony
An exhausted perspective
Over hearts and flesh and mind
Forever deceptive in their
Meaningless wanderlust
Restless atrophy of emotions
And so, illusions are born
Ethereal mist
Shaped as a crown
Devoid of jewels
Spirals of gray
Entwining in chromatic masks
Circling subconsciously
