The Aisle
We were In a place that was made for sinners and saints With two rings and promise of I do
Petals lined the floor and a veil covered her face
Our family and friends on the sides of a pathway made for two
She came in, walking down the aisle In a flowing white dress and a "I'm comin' to get ya" smile
She was on the left, and I was on the right
A preacher had us say our vows and a wedding knot was tied
But all I could think of in that moment Was her walking down the aisle
I was in a place that was made for sinners to pay And I was all alone without my ring
But all I could do is sit there in that chair and pray
That she didn't walk away with almost everything
She came in walking down the aisle In a smokin' red dress and a "take no prisoners" smile
I was on the left this time, she was on the right
The judge threw his gavel down and our knot came untied
But all I could think of in that moment Was her walking down the aisle
