Here we are, living in the city
Bitter people walking all around
They keep on calling our attentions
Hiding their intentions from the riches to the underground
Here we are, we're living in the city
Fancy people driving all around
They keep on changing their opinions
Making their decisions without making a sound
Everybody's a part of a system where powerful people are protected by the laws and the lies of the state, and the media plays its part by blinding us from what is and what should be truth
I'm just one alone in the streets praying
For a little light in the middle of the sky
A thousand running all day without stopping one moment
To think about what's going on with their lives
What happens here is the cause
Of judgement and gossip
There's mindless consumerism
There's prejudice in their minds
Appearences are their lives
Attention makes them survive
They only succeed with their lies
Which spread like a fucking disease
What rules the minds of this town are intelligent people who disguise their sovereignty with social projects announced by the sinners' mouths
I'm just one alone in the streets praying
For a little light in the middle of the sky
A thousand running all day without stopping one moment
To think about what's going on with their lives
Is there anybody here?
Is there anybody there?
Does anyone here knows
What happens under your nose?
