It's Mary that now comes to my side
She smiles at me then she says she's fine.
You drive let's go check out things around?
There's a bunch of things to do in this town.
Turn on the radio hit the road
Easy! your caravan is old
We finally park at the Kendall square
In her pocket there's a lighter for a cigarette
And I start to think she's not that fine
Mary, is hiding what she feels, as it seems
1) Yeah! She keeps her secrets in a shell
Where no one can find them
Mary is more beautiful than she thinks
I'll try to describe how she is:
She keeps her mind quite pure and broad
and she tells me things I never thought
I love all the poems she has made
innocent but sharp as a blade
behind the lines: a secret, a message
I still keep trying but I can't get it
Ain't got no clue 'bout her frown
repeat 1
So Mary still thinks that I'm a fool
She keeps saying life can't make me feel blue.
But I can tell from the faces I've seen
Not every person here fits in.
