The land is swept with silence
And black becomes the sun
The rooster crows, the sign that shows
The battle has begun
The gods ride forth from Asgard's halls
The giants from the east
Preparing for the final war
That spares no man or beast
As We watch from below
From our mortal point of view
This clash of gods
Lays waste to all that we knew
Iron-Clad Angels
They descend from on high
Iron-Clad Angels
They were sworn to fight and die
Fearless they charge into the fray
Destined to die on the final day
Iron-Clad Angels never will betray
Frey engages Surtur
But falls before his might
Garm and Tyr battle without fear
But none survive the fight
The mountains crumble to the sea
As titans fight and fall
Who will live and who will greet
Their brothers in Valhall?
As the fight carries on
We gaze forth in disarray
For nothing on earth
Prepared us to see this day
The God of Thunder turns to face the serpent's gaping maw
His hammer crashing down upon his deadly snapping jaws
At last the Son of Odin takes the serpent's final breath
But seven paces forth our hero falls down to his death
The time has come for Surtur
To make his final stand
His flaming swords released at last
To burn across the land
The world of men is razed to ash
As the earth is set ablaze
The charred debris sinks into the sea
To complete this end of days
Not one stick or stone
From this world will remain
But fret not my friends
The earth will be born again
