Dreams of the renaissance
Revealing secrets of the dark ages
Reading the scribblings on papyrus by candlelight
The flame dances to the ancient rhyme
I hear outside the hooves echoing
On this cold and silent night
The chapel is odorous of a musty scent
Revelling in my pagan practise
The abbey, the monk's retreat
I disturb the peaceful harmony of the nest
My eyes turn black as i evade purity
I want to foam at the mouth
I want to curse the lord jesus christ
Heresy and blasphemy
Slowly melting away the fabrics of happiness
Light now shaded by grey darkness
Revelling my acts of unholliness
Blindness besieges those who gaze
In the somber twilght shade
Creeps a mystical haze
Hunted like an animal by those who "love" me
"love thy enemy" hurt and kill thy enemy
Away from the torchlit chaos i run
Marked by my sense of wisdom
Free me from this century
Return me to consiousness
Free me from this century
Return me to consiousness
The barking of the dogs moves quicker the heels
Their laughter echoes from behind me
Caught i am, in a web of oppresion
Caugth i am, in this dreamlike experience
Medieval blasphemy and sacred mockery
Faith fades like the light of day
Welcome the night into your heart and mind
Desecrate all that is holy and blessed
Desecration is my practise
Condemn me, the heathen
Apostate, heretic
