The world's not ready for enlightenment
the guards are steady in their march for this
they keep us all dying unknown
God help me, I cant do this on my own
I wont be whole until I break this mold
Got this story, and it still needs to be told
People hear me, be no sheep
Call out feelings, set love free
For our lacking of human decency,
We built a cross of smoke and shadow
I watched a man stack rocks
Little did I know he could only feel
Blindness joined him
As he grew to be a man
Through a pledge of silence,
he changed a part of me
God help us, we cant do this on our own
We wont be, whole without a harmony
Mother's leaving children on the street to feed alone
Crumbling down now, must find a way
deep in to the core
With one voice we can make a change
to end this war
God help me, I cant do this on my own
I wont be whole until I break this mold
Got this story, and it still needs to be told
