In the warm nights of summer I sit on my roof
Like to watch how the planets dance inmune
They grow older and older but do not change much
And I ask, will I know your face if summer brings you back?
Cause you know I will love these scars once you've disappeared
But your touch is still a stigma burning on my skin
Winter will freeze the ferns
I'm infecting the sadness, I free my balloon
Save it now from the decay in my room
I will close all the blinds and become a cocoon
Then wake up in an office doing what I ought to do
Now the sky is turning red
When I watch the amber sun getting away from this town
I know I should not have been scared at all
I'll never get back what I let go
Once the planets have burnt down and the night sky's been blown out
Our youth will start being fed to the dark
I feel pain in my stomach and it might be love
Maybe not, maybe some gastritis has taken control
So I run to the toilet and vomit your absence
I can't come out, here the paper will heal all my wounds in silence
When the planets dance I know my mission
But to forget is never a decision
When I watch the amber sun getting away from this town
I know I should not have been scared at all
I'll never get back what I let go
Once the planets have burnt down and the night sky's been blown out
Our youth will start being fed to the dark
