Night Conquers Day - Footprints In The Snow Where The Wanderer Has Been Songtexte
The winds in the northerm frost
Dark blizzards blind the lives of servants
Slave to the frost we acknowledge succumbment
Atoned of all light - soaking into a lunar stream
Candles surround me casting their gloomy glow
The dusk long past
We are well into the night
The sound of my black heart pounding so slow
Envelops me as my eyes adjust to nocturnal sight
Full moon...bathe me in your beauty
Swelling flames garnish their tendencies
Echoes from the crypts of the dead ones
Who lie resless but active in our consciousness
Madness overcomes the few to lead
The coldness in my skin afar for warmth
The riddle of the psyche lays before me
Footprints in the snow where the wanderer has been
The lake is coated with celestial ice
A figure glides toward me
In a white flash i can see the timid fangs
Welcomed presence has summoned me to life
Walking in an astral sleep
I see it all in an occultish haze
I can see the reflection in the rippling puddle of melted wax
My candle is alive with melted darkness
I've left my mark, carved my pathway
Now let others follow in my footsteps
