Neverdead - The Maiden In White Songtexte

A fair - haired maiden, dressed in white, materialized in mist
Her eyes the shade of darkest night, scars etched in her wrists,
She spoke, " I have a tale to tell, that you'll not soon forget,
A tale of sin and sorcery, betrayal and regret",

The year was not that long ago, but a very different time,
When mortals told of witchery, in poetry and rhyme,
Some would bathe in infants blood, reciting incantations,
As they spoke in backward tongue, invoking divination

She was only a child,
The Maiden in White

As a child she grew in virtue, in the castle of the King,
Her mother skilled in magic arts, clairvoyance and deceit,
By Lucifer, and intrigue, the child began her quest,
And with her mother's guidance, was her spirit laid to rest,

A gateway to another world, and power was attained,
Wretched, vile, demonic lust, and carnal knowledge gained,
Against her Father's wishes, and His never ending grace,
She fell into a den of filth, and Satan's cold embrace.

She was only a child,
The Maiden in White

"Then something happened deep inside, that I could not explain,
Like razors ripping through my mind, and driving me insane,
They took my body captive, and I lost complete control,
Of every thought and action, and possession of my soul."

A wicked dream of years gone by, unfolds before my eyes,
From innocence to decadance, her birth to her demise,
To be satisfied by evil, the drug that she could not resist,
In the end she was tormented, and in turn she slit her wrists.
