Disentropy - November Songtexte

Tobacco business, medicine business working together to
drain their profit out of you poor man.
There's nothing you can do about it.

While people are starving, food industry is watching your weight for you,
always careful not to make you to conscious
and there's not much you can do about it

Entertainment business, entertaining what?
Public demand - their command
No one really has the vulgar needs you create
but stuck in your wave, the most
can do nothing about it

But in the smile of a child amused by simple things
and in the smile of your true love describing beautiful feelings
and in the the misty morninglight at the end of an October night you might see

Love and beauty can be found, even in the most miserable times
you may not see it all around
but you can always live with the certainty that it exists

Praying preachers prowling the pavement
looking for those weak and unstable
towards which their indoctrination is able
to work, can we do nothing about it???

Yesterdays deadly sins, todays greatest virtues
who knows how tomorrow will be
But those who preach morality
are themselves all condemning

It seems that we live in a world
where the right of the strongest is law
and to the defence of the poor
comes those not afraid of derision (and they are few)

But in the care and solidarity, that people sometimes show
and in the sudden clarity, when you're getting to know
the workings of nature in all it's glorious right
you will see

Love and beauty can be found, even in the most miserable times
you may not see it all around
but you can always live with the certainty that it exists
