When my baby falls
She gets right back up
Sun brings out her freckles
I stick 'em in my cup
Doesn’t shed a tear when she falls
Whispers ‘i love you too’ over phone calls
She’s so tall
Caught her writing about seasons on sidewalks
She's so tall
I want to say it loud
I know we won't fall down
My hair's gray
Gonna grow so old
Who knows where we will lay
I wanna say it so loud!
And run around the yard until my hair's gray
We'll grow so old
I'll never know well
But I love my baby
She grew so tall!
Shrink her down into a baby
She's so small
She will sail on here by my side right 'til I die
My baby’s writing about seasons and whispering over phone calls
