Corrupted Morals - Freedom To Express Songtexte

The freedom to express they can never take away.
It's my right to think what I want and to be able to say
Whatever Is on my mind even when no one listens.
Can't stop the way I feel or my expressions.
It's so easy to say you just don't care
Instead of trying to expand your mind.
There's a world full of beauty out there.
Maybe if you look you just might find
It feels better to love, it feels better to love thatn to hate,
I'd rather have a friend than an enemy.
I may not agree, sometimes I don't agree with things you say.
But you are not the same as me.
I try to open my mind, I try to open my mind
Before I open up my mouth.
So that way something intellegent, maybe something intellegent just might come out.
Who am I to tell you how to live your life?
Who is to say the way that I think is right?
When I write a song I'm not trying to tell people what they should do.
I write them for myself
For example when I freak out and I do things I know are wrong
I realize what's happening so I write myself a song.
From singing it over and over, singing it over and over, singing it over and over again.
Eventually it's going to sink in.
So the next time I'm in this position I can just think of the lyrics of my song.
To help me make the right decision.
By practicing what I preach.
It's one of the ways I teach myself
and hopefully it will help me to make a change.
