33 Days - Breathe Songtexte

All this pollution I bring with me
If I could start over, would I?
I lost my faith in sympathy
And I lose a little more every night
Now I can't fix this, it's all business
Don't believe me now? When it's over, you'll get this
Like a storm coming than you can't forsee
Take what you've got, pack your bags and leave
I can't stay in a world I could never save
When this mind brings me closer to the grave
And you know the sad thing: I just don't care
I feel 3 feet deep, like I am halfway there

Breathe the air up here
Things aren't always as they seem
I think redemption's near
If God will have me

I robbed the world of its freedom
And I knew all along
Sometimes I think I'm justified
But I always find I'm wrong

Now it's so confusing when you find you're losing
The mind that you thought that you were always using
I guess it always happens when you get older
And you carried the weight of the world on your shoulders
Understand now that you'll never understand
Not everything works out exactly like you planned
Everything you want isn't everything you need
First things first take the time to breathe

Someone needs to build a better human
